On Wednesday night, Francisco Rodriguez was arrested for misbehaving with his girlfriend's father following the 6-2 loss to Colorado. Owner Jeff Wilpon suspended him for 2 games. K-rod will return to court on September 14. Hopefully, this won't distract the Mets because they have a big series vs Philly this weekend. This is non baseball related, so when on the field, the Mets should stop thinking about Frankie, and do their best this weekend vs Phillidelphia.

ReplyDeleteK-Rod's outburst cannot be tolerated. Not that it's an excuse for criminal assault, but K-Rod's conduct does appear to result from the mounting frustration in the clubhouse. This is not a happy group right now, so it doesn't take much to send these guys off the handle. It is just one example of the team unraveling.
