Mets go 13-5 in interleague play

As the Mets rapped up a great interleague by beating the Twins 6-0. The great record could be because their opponents didn't know them yet. They didn't know what pitch the pitcher would that situation, and they didn't know well what pitches the hitter could/can't hit. They won 5 of 6 series, and the only loss came vs the Yankees, because the Yankees had already faced the exact same pitchers.

  1. NJMetFan, I think you have a good theory on why the Mets did so well against the AL team. It is interesting to note that the one game they lost to Minnessota was with Santana on the mound, who's pitches a lot of the Twins are familiar with from when Johan played with them.
