This weekend, the Mets start a 3 game series against the Marlins. Are these 3 games must wins? In the NL east, the Mets are a half game behind the Marlins, and 5 games behind the Braves in 1st place. If the Braves will loose 2 out of 3 and so do the Phillies, then if the Mets sweep the Merlins, they'll only be 2 games out of first. So if the Mets could beat the Marlins, then they'll have a chance to be in 1st place alone.
The Mets have been playing much better the last few games. I think they have a good chance to sweep the Marlins.

ReplyDeleteIt was very impressive how the Mets came back from down 5 runs. This is the type of heart that the Mets were unable to show in 2007 and 2008, even with very talented players. Do you think that not having Delgado and Beltran is having a positive effect in the clubhouse? Thanks for your blog NJMetFan- I read all your posts.
