Cliff Lee has begged the Mariners to leave Seattle. The Mets want him badly which is a good thing so they could then move R.A. Dickey to the bullpen so they'll have a strong rotation, and bullpen. Who should the Mets trade for him? They should trade them Bobby Parnell, and Ruben Tejada. Bobby Parnell, and Ruben Tejada are both young, and will have a bright future. Jenry Mejia is really young and has around a 97-MPH fastball, so he'll practice in the minors, and will become a starter.
The deal that you envision would be great. But I suspect the M's will want more than that. How much are you willing to give up?
